Our wonderful Artistic Director, Paul Dean and his brother, former ANAM Artistic Director Brett, are currently in Trondeim, Norway at the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival. Paul is performing alongside artists such as violinist Anthony Marwood (who is coming to ANAM at the end of this year), the Tercea Quartet, Norwegian jazz ensemble Come Shine, violist Kim Kaskashian and the Hagen Quartet amongst others.
Brett is this years featured composer (previous festivals have seen composers such as Steve Reich, Thomas Adés, Sofia Gudbaidulina and George Crumb) and Paul will be joining him a concert appropriately called 100% Dean. Paul is also performing with the Tercea Quartet performing Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A major, who have been rehearsing in the Queen of Norway’s Summer Palace. Just another day at the office!
