In the spirit of a New Year, a new term and new students, the ANAM blog will play host to a 14 day countdown to celebrate the beginning of our study year.

14 Days and counting – the South Melbourne Town Hall

ANAM has been in residence at the South Melbourne Town Hall since 1997 and has seen hundreds of students and many incarnations of the ANAM professional Performance Program.  In 2011, 60 students will fill the hallways with rigorous pracitce, masterclasses, seminars, performance classes and lessons.

Designed by Charles Webb in the late 1870’s the Town Hall served as a courthouse, firehouse, post office, police station library, council office and community centre during its lifetime.
