The next installment in our Australian Voices series will feature the composer Arthur Benjamin, best known for his orchestral suite Jamaican Rumba (1938) and film score for Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934), Arthur Benjamin had a small yet influential chamber music output with compositions written for the violin, cello and voice.

Jamaican Rumba was pretty famous in it’s day, if you feel so inclined, grab a dance partner and get groovin’.
