Last night, a group of ANAM delegates offered a one of a kind event. Celebrating the intake of 15 students originally from Queensland -as is our artistic director Paul Dean- the Philip Bacon Gallery in Brisbane kindly opened its doors to host 70 guests who were in for a musical treat. ANAM musicians Francesca Hiew (violin), Edwina George (violin), Katie Yap (viola) and Robert Manley (cello), together with Paul Dean chiming in on the clarinet performed Schubert and Weber followed by a reception in which Paul presented ANAM, our aims and activities, and the ongoing commitment to train the best Australian musicians.
